What is PYP, and Why Should Businesses Support It?
The Powerhouse Youth Program (PYP) exists to make competitive sports, education assistance, and physical training accessible to all kids — regardless of their family’s financial situation.
Why? Because sports change lives.
Research shows that athletes involved in competitive sports are more likely to:
• Be engaged in their communities
• Maintain higher GPAs
• Stay out of trouble
• Develop lifelong character traits like leadership, work ethic, accountability, coachability, and resilience
Beyond physical benefits, sports build mental health, friendships, and personal pride. They teach lessons that turn young athletes into tomorrow’s leaders, educators, parents, coaches, and mentors.
The Challenge:
Travel and competitive sports are expensive. Organization fees alone average $1,000–$3,000 — and that’s before adding training, travel, equipment, and lodging. These costs shut out countless kids who have the drive and talent but not the means.
The Solution:
PYP partners with Powerhouse Athletics — a 34,000 sq. ft. training facility in Franklin, Indiana — to provide scholarships, elite training, tutoring, and health services to athletes at little or no cost. We serve 300 program athletes, plus 250 more who train with us from across the Midwest, with most from central to southern Indiana.
With your sponsorship or donation, you’ll help:
• Cover organization fees so kids can join competitive teams
• Provide professional training, tutoring, and rehab services
• Supply the equipment they need to practice and play
• Give young athletes a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment

1. Facility Level – $4,000
• Scholarships 3–4 players for a full season
